| Course description |
Network operators increase network reliability by configuring switches in redundant pairs and by provisioning links to both switches in the redundant pair. A virtual switching system (VSS) combines a pair of Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series switches into a single network element. The VSS manages the redundant links, which externally act as a single port channel.
This half-day, hands-on course covers the design, deployment, and operations of the VSS system.
